In today’s fast paced world our daily lives are filled with choices. Some that we don’t even realize we have! Every day I wake up with a choice, sleep longer or get the day started. I often wish I had chosen the sleep longer option! Throughout this process I have had to make many choices, some that extended well outside my comfort zone, but that is what this is all about. Making choices that challenge me allow me to continue to see positive results and reap benefits of my hard work. The easy choice will always be to eat whatever I want or watch TV instead of going to the gym. I made the choice to change my priorities close to seven months ago. That one choice has had a butterfly effect on my life, it’s made me focus on my health in many other ways. I made the choice to change my weigh in schedule a few weeks back to every other week instead of weekly. That choice has allowed me to focus so much more at work, on my relationships with family and friends. I quickly realized that as long as I make the right choices and continue to stay on the correct path the scale will follow!
Hope you are having a wonderful day!

Mario…just took a few minutes to get caught up on your posts. I must say that you are improving by leaps and bounds. Every pound you lose brings you closer to your weight goal…..but something that I am especially proud if you for is that you have refocused your attitude about health. You have keyed in on the fact that getting healthy is the ultimate goal….not just what the scale says as far as a “number”. Getting healthy is losing weight…yes! But it is more than that. It is conquering your mental demons, it is having the right mindset about life, it is surrounding yourself with people that have the same drive and ambition, it is eating right, it I s enjoying your family and friends, it I s all encompassing. You are awesome! I am happy that you are enjoying life and reeping the rewards of your hard work.
Thank you William – The scale will always be a focus, but I have learned from you that there are more important things around health!
